6th Grade ELA 

You have been assigned six texts for the weeks that school will be closed. Please read the texts and answer the accompanying questions. You also need to complete the written prompts. The texts have also been added to Google Classroom as well as my website on the previous page.

For the text The Scholarship Jacket, question 5 reads: How does the principal’s point of  view towards Marta change throughout the story? Cite evidence from the story in your response. This is a constructed response; please answer this question in a Google Document, and share with your ELA teacher. It is being used as a writing sample.

In addition, please do your best to complete the IXL English diagnostic if you have access to a computer and internet. We will be using these results to help populate intervention classes next year.  If you cannot find the IXL website, here is the link: IXL website

Also, please remember to read in your free reading book at least 30 minutes a day, because there are tests coming up soon.
